About Individual Therapy
Individual therapy is available for adults seeking support with emotional, behavioral, relational, trauma-related, or life-transition concerns.
Some people arrive with one clear problem. Others arrive knowing only that something is off. Both are a reasonable place to start.
Treatment is individualized rather than based on a one-size-fits-all approach.
Areas of treatment may include:
- Trauma and trauma-related symptoms
- Post-traumatic stress
- Anxiety
- Depression
- Stress management
- Anger and emotional regulation
- Relationship difficulties
- Family conflict
- Adjustment to significant life changes
- Occupational and professional stress
- Men's mental health
- Identity and self-development
- Communication difficulties
- Behavioral concerns
- Coping skills
- Interpersonal conflict
- Difficult childhood experiences
- Recovery following high-conflict relationships
- Military and veteran-related adjustment concerns
- First responder and public-safety-related stress
- Court-related or legal-system-related stress
- Substance-use recovery support when appropriate
- Personal growth and performance
- Decision-making and problem-solving
- Development of healthier behavioral patterns
- Treatment focused on accountability, insight, and long-term stability
